Maulana Ghulam Rasool Mehr as Iqbal Shanas

Abstract

In this article, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Mehr’s knowledge of Iqbal has been highlighted. He is an important Iqbal list. He spent a lot of time in Iqbal’s company. He was very impressed with Iqbal’s poetic fame. He started contemplating Iqbal’s art at the age of thirteen. He had the privilege of being Iqbal’s companion almost continuously from 6 to 7. Even after that, he remained associated with Iqbal until his death. This article identifies scholarly and literary work with respect to confessions. He wrote critical essays on Iqbal. He did an important job of interpreting “Bang-e-Dara”. Also, worth mentioning are articles written for “Anthem of the East”, message of the East” and mystery of the self. Here, the services of Ghulam Rasool with reference to Iqbal are presented in a concise and comprehensive manner.
